Accent training

Accent training, 5 minutes a day.

Find the sounds that matter for you, then drill them with instant feedback. Choose a sound below and say the sentence.

I think these three things are worth it.

01 — The short answer
In short

Accent training (or accent reduction) means practising the few sounds that make your accent hard to follow. AccentLoop finds those sounds with a 30-second accent test, then gives you short drills with per-word feedback. Five minutes a day is enough to hear a difference in a few weeks. It is about clarity, not removing who you are.

A simple accent training routine

  1. Take the 30-second accent test and note the first feature it lists.
  2. Pick the matching drill below and say the sentence three times.
  3. Look at the red words, press Listen, and copy the model slowly.
  4. Do the daily sentence to keep your streak going.
  5. Retest your accent after two weeks and compare.

Frequently asked questions

Can you lose your accent completely?

Most adults keep some accent, and that’s fine. Training aims at clarity — being easy to understand — not at sounding like someone else.

How long until I hear a difference?

With 5–10 minutes a day on one or two sounds, many people notice clearer speech in 2–4 weeks.

Is accent training free?

The test, drills and daily sentence are free (10 checks a day). Pro is $9.99/month for heavier practice.
