Nurse interview questions, practised out loud.
Nursing interviews test clinical judgement, patient communication and how you stay calm under pressure — often in a second language for internationally educated nurses (NCLEX/OSCE pathways).

What interviewers look for
- Use clinical frameworks by name (ABCs, SBAR) — interviewers listen for them.
- Slow down on drug names and numbers; clarity beats speed.
- End every story with the patient outcome.
Sample answer
How do you prioritise care when several patients need you at the same time?
I start with the ABCs — airway, breathing, circulation — so anyone unstable comes first. Last month two call lights went off while I was hanging an IV: one patient was short of breath, the other needed pain relief. I checked the breathing patient first, raised the head of the bed, checked oxygen saturation and called the rapid response nurse, then asked a colleague to bring the pain medication. Both patients were stable within ten minutes.

Frequently asked questions
What are common nurse interview questions?
How do you prioritise care when several patients need you at the same time? Tell me about a time you advocated for a patient. How would you handle a family member who is angry about their relative's care?
Can I practise for free?
Yes — one 3-question interview a day, no sign-up. The 7-day Interview Sprint ($9.90 once, no renewal) unlocks full interviews.
Should I memorise my answers?
No. Memorise the stories (situation, what you did, the result) and practise telling them out loud in different words. That sounds natural and survives follow-up questions.
